Privacy Policy

Amy AI Systems, LLC (“we”) provides Amy, a home monitoring and assistant system. This policy explains what information Amy handles and how.

1. What Amy processes

• Video and audio from cameras and microphones in the home, to detect safety events and to answer spoken requests.
• Voice and face profiles of household members who enroll, so Amy can recognise who is speaking or present.
• Caregiver contact details (names, mobile numbers, email addresses) you give us for alerts.
• System records, such as alert history and logs used to keep the system working.

2. Where it is processed. Video, face recognition and voice recognition run on equipment in your home. Some features use outside services:

• Conversation: the words of a spoken request may be sent to a third-party AI language service to produce Amy’s reply. Groq and Google Gemini
• Text messages: alert texts are delivered through Twilio.
• Email alerts: sent through Yahoo Mail.

Video and audio recordings are not sent to these services unless a feature says so.

3. How we use it. Only to provide Amy’s monitoring, alerts and assistant features, and to keep the system working. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

4. Sharing. Only with the service providers above, as needed to deliver the service, or when the law requires it. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

5. Keeping it. Alert video clips and system logs are kept only as long as needed to run the service, then deleted.. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

6. Security. Access to the system is limited to the household and to us for support. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect a problem.

7. Your choices. You can stop text alerts by replying STOP, remove a household member’s profile, or ask for a copy or deletion of your information at goldmanchristopher@yahoo.com.

8. Not a medical device. Amy provides wellness monitoring and alerting. It does not diagnose or prevent medical events and is not a substitute for emergency services.

9. Changes. We will post any change here with a new effective date.
